Data deletion request

Last updated 22 July 2026. This page explains how to have data removed from Vametrix, for both our business customers and the people they message.

If you are a person who messaged a business on WhatsApp

A business you contacted uses Vametrix to answer its WhatsApp messages. Your conversation, name and phone number are stored on that business's behalf.

You do not need an account with us to make this request, and we will not charge for it.

If you are a Vametrix business customer

You may delete your organisation's data at any time:

What gets deleted

Contact records and phone numbers, message history, AI memory and summaries, leads and CRM records, uploaded knowledge documents and their search indexes, campaign and attribution records, and any encrypted third-party credentials you supplied.

What we may retain, and why

We keep the minimum required by law — for example invoices and payment records needed for tax and accounting, retained for the statutory period. These contain billing details, not conversation content. Anonymous, aggregated operational counts that cannot identify any person may also be retained.

Deletion via Meta

If you reached us through a Meta product and Meta forwards a data-deletion callback for your account, we treat it as a deletion request under this policy and process it on the same 30-day timeline.

Contact
